Let DCRC help you get the most out of your e-DECA data!

All programs can benefit from performing analyses of their DECA data for progress monitoring or program evaluation purposes. These analyses can help assess the program’s impact on the growth and development of children’s within-child protective factors. We are happy to support our eDECA users with data analysis and evaluation services to facilitate the interpretation of their programs’ DECA scores. Our standard program evaluation analysis package consists of a detailed report which includes a description of scores at pretest and posttest and a series of statistical analyses to examine how scores have changed over the program year. We also offer pretest reports, to help programs interpret DECA scores at the beginning of the year and devise a plan for implementing resilience-building strategies, and midyear reports, to help programs examine midyear progress and adjust their strategies to maximize social and emotional growth for the remainder of the year.

All analyses are accompanied by graphs to illustrate findings and are customizable to meet each program’s unique needs. Please click here for a sample of a standard pretest-posttest report.
