Devereux Center for Resilient Children (DCRC) to be Honored in NYC
It is an honor to announce that DCRC will receive the 11th annual Champions for Children award from the Center for Children’s Initiatives (CCI) in New York City on October 21, 2013. CCI touches the lives of more than 4,000 children annually with the DECA Program resources featured as essential components of their service delivery systems. e-DECA Web-based Assessment System now links with ChildPlus
We are excited to announce that we are working with ChildPlus to offer a more seamless data sharing process between the e-DECA and ChildPlus. This new enhancement will be ready for the 2013-2014 school year. If you are interested in learning more about this interface, please email dcrc@devereux.org
International News
Social and Emotional Learning initiatives are strong in many counties throughout the world and the Devereux resilience assessments are gaining more and more international attention. Most recently, the Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA) was published in Dutch. The publisher, Hogrefe, features the Dutch version of the DESSA!
