Birth Announcement!

National trainer and DCRC author, Nefertiti Bruce Poyner, and her husband Eric Poyner welcomed their baby girl Madison Elise Poyner to the world on March 9^th, 2015. For all of you who know Nefertiti and/or have been in training with her, you know this is a very lucky little girl. We wish them all the best!

 

DECA-Clinical form—Coming Soon in Spanish

We need your help!  If you serve children whose parents speak Spanish, we invite you to help us finalize the translation study for the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment Clinical Form (DECA-C).  The link below takes parents and/or teachers directly to the website to answer a set of questions in both English and Spanish.  All participants receive $5 Walmart gift card.

DCRC’s New e-Commerce site

The Devereux Center for Resilient Children is now able to directly fulfill orders for several of our most popular resources including Building Your Bounce: Simple Strategies for a Resilient You , FLIP IT: Transforming Challenging Behaviors (including the book and the reminder resources ) as well as Socially Strong Emotionally Secure: 50 Activities to Promote Resilience in Young Children .

 

Data Analysis Technical Assistance

The Devereux Center for Resilient Children is now offering technical assistance to support programs in best utilizing their DECA and DESSA data.  Data analysis reports can be customized to best meet programs’  specific needs around progress monitoring and outcome reporting.  If you are interested in learning more about this fee-based service, please email deca@devereux.org
