10.  City Year

Working in local schools in high poverty areas, “corps members” dedicate a year of their lives to providing the additional academic and social/emotional support that students need to succeed and graduate from high school.  For the past two years, City Year corps members in many cities nationwide have been using the DESSA to better understand the strengths and needs of the students they work with so that they can individualize instruction and get the best results.  DCRC is very proud to be supporting this important work.
