5.  Riverside Dept. Of Mental Health

The Riverside Department of Mental Health is now in its 13^th year of a project that uses the DECA to improve families’ access to early mental health services by providing outreach through screenings at doctors’ offices, preschools, child care facilities as well as community clinics.  The early detection project takes advantage of automated technology through which software is used to centralize data collection and most efficiently share data among professionals and families.
